We’re creating somewhere relaxed and welcoming where people can come together and enjoy spending time. Maybe it’s celebrating a big win with your teammates, meeting up with friends, joining a new community group or simply popping in for a coffee after the school run.
ABOUT US
We’re Charlotte and Dave Garner, a local family who know how much Holland Sports Club means to people in Barton because it means a lot to us too. We’re regular users of the Club and have seen first-hand what an important part of the village it already is.
When we offered to manage the Clubhouse, it was because we shared Holland Sports Club’s vision for what this new facility could become. We want to help bring that vision to life by creating a welcoming, well-run Clubhouse that supports the existing sports clubs and gives more people a reason to come down and spend time here.
Between us, we have more than 20 years of hospitality experience, alongside years of building and running purpose-driven businesses and projects. We’ve put our own time, experience and investment into making the Clubhouse work and we genuinely care about getting it right for Holland Sports Club, the affiliated clubs and the wider village.
We also know that the best ideas won’t all come from us. Once we’re open and you’ve had a chance to see this wonderful new space for yourselves, we want to hear what you’d like to see happening here and create opportunities for people to get involved, share their ideas and make the most of it.
We can’t wait to get started.

We’re building our team for the new Clubhouse and looking for people who are warm and approachable, enjoy being part of a team and take pride in doing things well.
Matt, our Bar Manager, is already on board and we can’t wait to introduce him properly. Now we’re looking for the rest of the team to join us and help bring the Clubhouse to life.
